Blue Room Collective — Nosferatu

Friday, October 30

This Hallowe’en season, the Blue Room Collective presents a special screening of the silent horror masterpiece Nosferatu with live organ accompaniment by founding member Carlos Foggin.

Released in 1922, Nosferatu remains one of cinema’s most haunting and influential films — a shadow-filled gothic classic that helped define the vampire genre for generations to come. Experience it as audiences once did: on the big screen, accompanied live by an improvised theatrical organ score.

Drawing on the traditions of classic silent film performance, Foggin’s live accompaniment brings new life to every eerie moment, chase through the night, and flicker of candlelight. Atmospheric, dramatic, and unforgettable, this one-night event transforms the theatre into a living silent-era cinema.

A perfect October night for film lovers, music lovers, and anyone who enjoys a little darkness with their art.
